Coach Raul Diaz

Chicago-raised Coach Raul Diaz is the founder and head coach of Dynamite Kickboxing. With nearly
two decades in combat sports, Raul built his program on authentic, technical striking and individual
development—whether you’re throwing your first kick or preparing for competition.
Raul has served as a Team USA coach for the World Kickboxing Association, coaching at international
competitions in Colombia, Aruba, Scotland, and Peru. Dynamite athletes have earned U.S. national and
world titles—including two gold medals at the 2024 WKA World Championships. Outside the gym, Raul
is the founder and president of Ascend World Series, a combat-sports promotion created to give rising
fighters a stage. At X-Zen, he brings that same detail-driven approach to every class.
Your First Visit
Start with a free intro class. Any Kickboxing class works.
Wear workout clothes and bring a water bottle. Your coach will walk you through the
format and set you up at your level. No experience needed.
